Join us bright and early for a day filled with laughter, fresh air, and the stunning Foxton coastline. The Foxton fun run event registration desk opens from 6:30am at the Foxton Beach Surf Club. Whether you’re up for a 5km stroll or ready to tackle the half marathon, every step you take supports local charities right here in our region.

Every participant who crosses the finish line receives a medal as a thank you for supporting regional charities.
Event day details
Join us for our annual Fun Run where we raise funds for local charities. From 5km to a half marathon walk or run, your entry fee will be donated to help local organisations help locals. This years charities include Foxton Beach Volunteer Fire Brigade, Surf Life Saving Foxton Beach and Foxton Beach Community Centre and Health Shuttle.
- Staggered start times from 7am to 9:00am per event distance
- Start and finish line is on the beach in front of the Foxton Beach Surf Club
- Run or Walk on the hard packed sand to your turn-around marker and refreshment station.
- Prize giving of spot prizes at 12pm or when the last entrant finishes. Spot prizes are drawn by a random number generator.
- Due to restrictions of the tide, all participants are recommended to be back by 12pm.
- All finishers receive a medal
Registration opens from 6.30am. All participants must attend registration on the day to receive their entrant packs including bib numbers or wristbands, and be entered into the spot prize draw.
